The juniors culminate tonight with their performance of Our City, Our Stories - 6 to 8pm in the Great Space and Dance Studio. All are welcome... One night only!

Sophomore parents are welcome to spectate at the Play is Work Culmination in the Great Space from 9-11am on Tuesday. 

Our Model UN delegation will depart after-school on Wednesday and return on Friday. 

Seniors in the Make it Happen program will be celebrated at Hannaford Hall this Wednesday from 4 to 6pm. 

The CBHS prom is this Saturday from 8:30-11:30pm at Mechanic's Hall. Dessert and drink donations welcome! 
Our semi-annual Family Crew Night is coming up, 2 weeks from Thursday, May 30th (6 to 8pm, dessert potluck). All are welcome to come and celebrate the great student work in the 2nd half of the year.
Help Wanted 
We are seeking a parent chaperone to help Mr. Ford supervise our Model UN delegation the night of May 15th -  8:30-midnight - or you can can stay overnight in a private room (USM Gorham campus) and leave as early as you’d like in the morning.  Please let me of Mr. Ford know if you are interested or if you would like more information.

Culmination season is here… Good luck to Juniors tonight - and sophomores tomorrow!  (Final Words start next week.)

Josh Mutshaila and the CBHS Cabinet seek your feedback about the idea of adding Cabinet Vice-Chairperson for the 2019-2020 school year. The Vice-Chair would be chosen from among the Cabinet members by the members of Cabinet in the fall, after the members of Cabinet have been chosen for the year. Crews please give feedback by this Friday here.

Seniors seeking the Portland Public Schools STEM Endorsement for their diplomas need to meet with Ms Teller and Ms Loughlin today during Team Support Time in India (room 315) to review your status in the lead up to graduation.

Reminder: Seniors Who Participated in Skip Day last week: As a reminder you need to complete 3 hours of service before graduation. See Mr. Shibles for options.

Casco Bay High School will be offering two colleges classes in the fall. Both will take place on Wednesdays after school at CBHS with SMCC professors.. The courses will be: College Algebra (Math-140) and Maine History (HIST-145)  Please see Ms. Doyle if you have any questions or to sign up.

9th Graders: 1) We are launching the prep for Science Talks during TST this week. The actual Science Talks will be conducted during ACAD on Thursday. 9th Graders will not have a regular Acad on Thursday

2) Tuesday ACAD is the exceeds opportunity for the Genetics of Cancer Lab. Participating students  should come to Haiti with their pre-lab completed.

Rising Juniors and Seniors: Mr. Leque is looking for teacher aides for next fall.

Prom tickets are on sale! They are being sold during lunch every day this week and before school on Tuesday and Thursday. Tickets are $15 each, but if you have any issues paying, please see Mr. Pierce. All prom tickets must be purchased in advance by no later than Friday at 2:45pm.  There are a limited amount of tickets available, so be sure to buy yours before they sell out! All Prom Guest names must be submitted by this Thursday at 12:30.

Outing Club will be hosting a day hike this Sunday May 19th in lieu of attending the Teens to Trails Spring Thing Weekend (scheduling conflict with prom) so that more students may participate in a spring outing. Come to Outing Club's lunch meeting on Thursday in Haiti to plan our hike and secure your spot!

Sophomores & Juniors: The initial PATHS confirmations deadline is this Friday! We realize there are still visits being scheduled. Please speak with your crew adviser or Mr. Hale to confirm if you are taking a PATHS course next year.

Cougar Kudos to Logan Andrick who will be awarded his Eagle Merit on Friday May 17th at 6:30 at the Stevens Avenue Congregational Church, with a reception downstairs to follow. Any and all are welcome to attend. See Logan FMI.
