Help Wanted

The People of Portland Project ‘22:  Seeking 24 New Stories

NOMINATE & ASK SOMEONE YOU KNOW (CLICK HERE!) Who do you know whose story should be heard?  Who has inspired you--and would inspire all of us if we knew them and their story?  For the first time since March 13, 2020, CBHS juniors are looking for people in the Portland area to interview and then showcase and honor in a live performance presentation.  We have been living through difficult, unprecedented times, and too often we have been left isolated and disconnected.  We know, however, that some of our neighbors have been quietly living heroic, brave lives––in small and big ways.  We know there are many in our community who have shown immense courage, resilience and strength in the face of hardship or injustice.  There are those who have responded to these times by reinventing themselves or serving our community or taking action to better our world.  We want to listen to these everyday people and we want to bring their stories to life for all of us to experience.  Nominate now!  Check out the link for more information!

Nurse Bell is looking for parental volunteer support to assist with logistics related to our school based Dental Clinic on Thursdays between now and February break; any time between 9am and 2pm would be helpful. Contact Nurse Bell ([email protected]) FMI.
