CBHS Summer Academic Offerings and Summer Reading

Summer 2018 Academic Options and Summer Reading at Casco Bay High School

To be on track for graduation, students need to earn at least ten credits a year. Eight credits in English are required for graduation – as well as six in math, science and social studies. We strongly encourage students to do whatever it takes to stay on the path towards graduation.

June 25th-26th - Application is here.

Summer Math Workshop at CBHS

Students in grades 9-11 may have the opportunity to earn one trimester of math credit over the summer through supported and customized sessions on ALEKS. This opportunity is available for any CBHS math student, regardless of whether you are interested in credit remediation, acceleration or just deepening your math skills with more practice. Students will complete 10 three-hour sessions with CBHS math faculty support during Tuesdays and Thursdays in July and August. Participants must be able to attend 10 of the 12 scheduled sessions to be eligible for credit; a designated number of topics must also be mastered.
